My name is Avery Dilley and I am an Honors Exercise Science major in the College of Education and Health Professions. For my research project, “Pain Management in Individuals with Flat Feet Using the FootCore MAX,” I worked with Dr. Abigail Schmitt, a professor in the department of Health, Human Performance, and Recreation. Throughout the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters, I studied the effectiveness of the FootCore MAX in alleviating pain in individuals with flat feet. Following graduation this spring, I will begin physical therapy school, earning my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
