Maddie Johnson graduated from the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences as a Journalism/Political Science major. She was fortunate to have Dr. Janine Parry, university professor of political science, serve as her thesis mentor, and she completed her defense during the spring of 2024. She looks forward to attending Washington University School of Law in St. Louis this fall.

Introducing Coping and Awareness Strategies for Sexual Violence Survivors on TikTok

Join Aliyah Hipp, a dedicated Public Health major at the University of Arkansas,
College of Education and Health Professions, as she delves into the intricate world of
sexual violence disclosures on TikTok. Under the mentorship of Shristi Bhochhibhoya,
Aliyah spent her summer meticulously coding TikTok videos to evaluate coping and
awareness strategies. Now, she embarks on the journey of writing her thesis,
culminating in a presentation at the American Public Health Association Conference in
Fall 2024.
